DEPARTMENT OF SYSTEMIC AND NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION
The Rehabilitation Department provides systemic rehabilitation based on orthopaedic indications (after injuries, surgeries, in cases of chronic diseases), as well as neurological and rheumatological indications. As part of the services, comprehensive medical rehabilitation is provided, in compliance with the modern physiotherapeutic methods. The diagnostic process, treatment and rehabilitation are tailored to each patient individually and supervised by the rehabilitation specialists. The therapy is conducted by a team of experienced physiotherapists. Physicians and physiotherapists constantly improve their qualifications at courses, conferences and symposia.
The Rehabilitation Department has 31 beds in comfortably equipped and air-conditioned rooms for 2 or 4 patients. Each of them has a bathroom adapted to the elderly and the disabled, a TV set and free Internet access.
The patients have physiotherapy and kinesiotherapy rooms at their disposal, as well as a gym, where specialised kinesiotherapy exercises are performed.
The Department provides medical services under a reimbursement contract with the NHF, as well as commercial medical services.
The Rehabilitation Department provides:
- comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation:
- alloplasty of the joints (shoulder, hip, knee)arthroscopy of the joints
- surgical treatment of limb fractures
- surgical treatment of the spine (fractures, discopathy, spondylolisthesis)
- in pain syndromes and degenerative changes of joints and spine
- after sports injuries
- prevention and treatment of spinal pain (e.g. conditions after cervical and lumbar discectomy, discopathy, sciatica, spondylolisthesis, instability)
- neurological rehabilitation

- post-stroke (neuropsychological, neurologopaedic, speech therapy, occupational therapy)
- after spinal injuries with spinal cord injury
- in Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy, muscular dystrophy
